Our Website Development Process:
Phase I - Website planning
The first step of your website development project is information gathering and planning. We have to find out what is your site goal, who are your targeted visitors, what content you'd like to be included and other key points. You can provide us all this information by filling out our free, no obligation website development quote.
We may contact you to gather additional information before quoting on your project. Once we are ready, we issue a quote specifying a price, a timeline and other related project details.
Website development contract will be signed by you at this point and sent to us with your deposit of 50% from the agreed price. Once we receive your signed contract and deposit we send you a receipt and determine your project start date.
If required, we'll immediately register your desired domain name. The domain is registered in your name and you will be the sole owner of the domain.
Phase II - Project begins. Graphic design phase.
Before the designated start date the developer in charge of you project will contact you and provide his direct contact information and request additional information if needed. Typically you will let us know what pages you would like to include in your site (like Home, Services, Contact Us etc.) and supply all the text content for the pages. You could also supply company logo, corporate style information, if you have any, photos and images and other related information.
Your graphic design preferences are very welcome at this point. You could also show us the websites you like as well as your competitors´ websites. Once we all know where we are going, the graphic design begins.
You will receive drafts of your website design and let us know what you like or do not like about it. We will change the design or fix any issues until you completely love it. Once you like how the draft looks the website development may begin. No major graphical changes could be made after this point.
Phase III - Website Development.
You will receive a link to a temporary location on our server where you could review the development progress. Developer in charge of your project will update you each time major changes are made on your site, so you could review them. Your feedback is very important at this point. Do not hesitate to contact the developer and let him know how you feel about your project.
During this phase we will create the HTML code of your pages and program any special features you have requested.
Phase IV - Testing, Basic SEO and Launch.
Upon completion of major work on your project, we will test your site and make sure it has no grammar or spelling mistakes, no dead links and all the requested features operate properly in common web browsers.
Your website pages will be optimized to be visible by common search engines, including page titles, meta tags, alt image tags, text content may be changed slightly to include desired keywords. More extensive Search Engine Optimization and promotion services are available for an additional fee.
Once we are done, the second part of your payment is due.
At this point we are ready to install the website on your hosting account. We also provide you a zipped copy of the website. Once the site is live on your hosting, we perform basic testing again to make sure all your pages operate properly in your hosting environment.
For complex websites any documentation needed to operate the website will be provided.
At this point the project is complete and your site is working.
We allow 30 days period for minor adjustments or textual changes. Any major changes at this point might require an additional fee.
